I love my Sonos collection so I highly recommend it. Instead of the S5 you could just add a ZP90 to your system for the internet radio/itunes/flac option.
My bedroom system includes a ZP90, Marantz PM 5004, B&W 685s and a Pro-Ject RM-5.1 SE. Drop the turntable in your case and you are around $1,450.

Tim,
Thanks for the great suggestion. A question for you: If I went with the Sonos, would I need another sonos piece in addition to the ZP90 to set this up in my place? (I currently don't own any sonos products). I do have a wifi network set up at home which reaches my bedroom. Would the ZP90 connect to the wifi or do I need another Sonos product to make this all happen?
Oh, and if anyone has any suggestions on good ipod docks (maybe with a DAC) that would work with this sort of set up, I would appreciate the advice!
Thanks again!
If you could not physically wire your ZP90 via ethernet to your router, you would just need the Zonebridge (BR100) to wire to the router. Then you can place Sonos zones anywhere. It used to be $100 but they recently dropped it to $50.
If you go the Sonos route, I assume the music on your ipod is on your computer which the ZP90 would pull from. If not, there is a Sonos iPod dock that you can place anywhere in the house and have the ZP90 play off of.
