Also. I will be using this only for a turntable. No movies or cd players. And I will be playing indie rock and jazz mostly, with the occasionally classical record. Thanks

Energy RC-30's on closeout...Under $400 at audio adviser down from about $1000 a pair.
Have I misunderstood something?
Thanks for the suggestions guys. Where are these image b25's on closeout for that price. I just went and listened to them in a shop and loved them. Please let me know where this price is. Thanks guys. (ps. I will be adding a cd player sometime soon. I have a decent cd stereo, but my old turntable is complete shit. It's taking priority for now.)

I have a marantz pm5003 and am extremely happy with it...on the subject, I too am looking at getting speakers for it because at the moment I have old Klipsch bookshelfs that are not doing my music justice. I am looking at Epos M5i and Focal 807v. Just thought I would share with you
Second endorsements of the Marantz PM5003/4. Got mine today to replace an old Yamaha integrated of much greater wattage, and this holds it own extremely well. I am very pleased with how it sounds and works, and it's a pretty good looking amp, too.
Since the shop bought the speakers and set them up for you to listen and get you interested in them, why not buy from that dealer who will stand behind the product, rather than rewarding an online dealer who cannot/will not demo the product for you?
