its sound that might be all that matters. I'd lean towards the PSB as it offers a nominal 8 Ohm load. The RX8 is a 4 Ohm speaker and not recommended for use with that receiver if one seeks high SPLs. With a subwoofer you likely will be able to fill that room with sound adequately with the RX6 or T5. The subwoofer can take the lowest octave below 40Hz by setting the front speakers crossover at 40Hz, setting the LFE to Bypass, and setting the crossover on the subwoofer to 40Hz..

Is it not possible to  set the impedence of receiver to 4ohms and use MA RX6? I was thinking like there wont be any problem. I was under the impressionif we have speakers with different impedence   it will be a problem. I mean few with 4ohms and few with 8ohms. 

Thx a lot for quick reply. As mentioned earlier I never listned to T5 so it was a black box to me. But i have heard both T6 and RX6.  I have read lot of good reviews about T6 and RX6 didnt see much reviews about T5. So I was not sure about the performance of T5. Eventhough T6 is 30% more expensive than T6, I was thinking of going with T6.( if it is worth spending  if it is too good since we are not changing the speakers too often and I should not regret later)

 Please let me know if I am buying  T5 whether it is a good decision or not? ( for my Onkyo TX NR 609 and sub super cube 3 )

Setting the receiver to accept 4 Ohm speakers severely restricts amplifier output. If you can afford the T6 and you like their sound, why not? All that said, you could do a lot worse than the PSB T6.

RX6 is 6ohms and PSB T5 and T6 both are 8ohms. My AV reciever spec is shown below.

100 W + 100 W (8 ohms, 20 Hz-20 kHz,
0.08%, 2 channels driven, FTC)
125 W + 125 W (6 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.1%,
2 channels driven, FTC)

PSB power requirement is 20 to 200W  and MA RX6 is 20 to 125W.

So I think we can use it for both speakers with out any problem. If I am wrong let me know.I am new to this so forgive my ignorance.

T6 I liked vey much but slightly expensive and due to room size and since I have a sub woofer I was inclined to T5. I didnt hear T5 and not seen a lot of review for T5.

That is why I am in dilema. T6 and MARX6 are having minor cost difference in India. T6 is expensive in India.

If any of you can give me suggestion to select the best for me considering my room and sub it will be great.

all right. The T5s should sound similar to the T6. If you liked the T6 sound you probably will like the T5 as well.

If you can afford the Monitor Audio RX6 and like their sound they are also well regarded. Here is a review of its predecessor: http://www.stereophile.com/floorloudspeakers/306monitor/

If the PSB T5 is less expensive than the RX6 it might be a better value as it seems it to have similar, if not better, frequency response and power handling specifications to the RX6. Again, you could do a lot worse than the PSB Image T5.
