harman kardon hk990

I recently came across the hk990 integrated amp. It has a good review from this publication and is within my budget. I want to eventually buy a pair of Vandersteen 2ce's.

What is your opinion of this piece of equipment? Would it power these speakers?

Thanks for your input.

I use an HK 3380.  HK is good

I use a low end HK 3380.  HK is good stuff.  That one will push your speakers just fine.

The Harman Kardon HK990 is a nice piece.

I listened to one a couple of months ago. However, I was actually more impressed by the Anthem Integrated 225 which sounds great, is almost as feature rich as the HK990, and is as powerful and cheaper.
