I made it to my local shop, Tunes in Hoboken, just after doors opened. Luckily, they had about 25 of the special releases in stock. They didn't have everything I wanted (no Sonic Youth reissues, no Flaming Lips, no John Fahey), but I did get:
Jimi Hendrix: Live at Clark University 12"
Roky Erickson and Okkervil River: True Love Cast Out All Evil LP (AWESOME.)
Fela Kuti: 4 track 10"
Seasick Steve: "Diddley Bo" 7" single
Neil Young: "Heart of Gold" 7" single
Rodriguez: "Inner City Blues" 7" single
Rolling Stones: "Plundered My Soul" 7" single
Fucked Up: "Daytrotter Sessions" 7" single
Of course, I also had to go through the used section, where I picked up an Anita O'Day album.
