Gross to Present Triton One Speakers at Maryland Dealer, September 4.

A highlight for Stereophile editor John Atkinson at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show last January was auditioning GoldenEar’s new Triton One tower loudspeaker, which costs $4999.98/pair. On September 4, from 6–9pm, GoldenEar founder Sandy Gross will be presenting the Triton Ones at Gramophone, 8880 McGaw Road, Columbia MD 21045. RSVP to (410) 381-2100. Click here for more details on the Tritons—Robert Deutsch is working on a review of the Triton One, to be published in the New Year.

This product looks interesting.

Will Stereophile put some news into its site concerning the very large product upgrade undertaken by Bowers and Wilkins this week? There is a new CM series 2, which complements the recently released 600 Series 2. The 600 series 2 has already been out for half a year.

This is the second major product launch by Bowers and Wilkins that potentially will get no coverage--there was nothing about the new 600 series--by Stereophile. One site even posted a video review, as they did for the B&W PM1 when it came out.

The CM and 600 series of Bowers and Wilkins are adaptable, high quality, and relatively affordable products. Some European sites have already tested some of the new 600 series speakers. Tests of the new CM series 2 are coming soon based on what I've read this week in a major European publication.

Please cover product launches of these popular, well built, and widely available loudspeakers.

We reported on B&W's new 600 series speakers in the May 2014 issue's "Industry Update" section, but no, not on our website.

We don't republish press releases on this site, just advance notice of events and shows. But we are talking to B&W about arranging a review of one of the new speakers.

Is both low2mid and JA's British accent are hidden. So excitement and indifference toward one Britain's pre-imminant brands in a tone that can only be carried in a British accent are completely lost on the conversation. :)

I kid. We don't know low2mid's country of origin, I just assume he works for B&W.

Really ?? Seems like Stereophile will be way late to the party on perhaps the most anticipated speakers released in quite some time. I already have them and they are quite amazing for the price, absolutely smoked my Magnepans and Logans (which I loved), would love to read your in-depth analysis sooner rather than later.

Ayup. Post in haste, regret at leisure :-)

I'll fix it.
