Pretty cool timing, to get a January issue when you should, like near January, unlike other magazines where you are like into March issue already. John, why no letters from mfg., from AVA. There really should be a clarification on just what ckts are in the Hafler Pro 500's chassis. Looks like the wire ad from Crystal was inadvertently LEFT IN. 2 page big ad of a piece of wire. They don't even do that stuff in Electrical Contractor, or ECM magazine. And those trade publications are all about wires, plugs, connectors, and how to use em. I thought StereoPhile was about audio equipment? When did wire become EQUIPMENT? Less wire, more electronics. Wire is NOT an audio component, it's WIRE!!! If you read each ad for their version of magic wire, they all have their own take on reality and stuff. Each ad dept at these places have their own version of science. They have had birds, piano keys, mountains, rivers, hot, cold, air, vacuum, square, round, this and that magic insulation. Wire seems to be teh most marketed product, cus' i bet it's teh most profitable. There are so many wire gurus, they could fill a stadium. 21st century Barnum and Bailey Circus. So when are ya gonna test soem AVA Ultra DAC, Pre Amps, Amps, less wire, more electronics. and no $45K distortion DEFECTIVE OBSOLETE CD players. My 2 old Philips changers CDC936 use that chip, can I sell it on E-Bay as classic gold? Zander approved old stuff? I'll change the line cord to magic wire. Right now one of em feeds teh AVA Ultra DAC, sonic bliss, try it you'll like it. Really. And find a new insurance plan, waiting a month is absurd for a serious ear problem. They need one that doesn't need referals.
I am getting my Jan issue in JANUARY!!!!!!! JAN 5 TO BE EXACT. What is inside will be old news...to everyone else.
What have I done to make the periodical gods mad at me?

Did you not make the proper Offering?
Did you not see the burnt offerings of all my old Absolute Sounds magazines?
It arrived....Friday!!!! In Dec. no less.
Forgeddabout that kitchen floor, THAT IS SOME WAXXY BUILD-UP!
I can't think of anything more possibly devestating than for an Audio Engineer, Audiophile, and Recording Engineer than to lose their hearing. Glad you're back.
Regards,
ps Congrats to RB and his Bride. She is a keeper based on her tolerance level of audiophilia while on your honeymoon. It shows she knew what she was buying into long before the big day. It makes me wonder where RB "registered" before the Wedding?
