I would get an external DAC. The DACs in multi-disc changers tend to be horrible. You are losing a lot of detail. I really like the Peachtree DAC-IT x for $299. You would run a Toslink or Digital Coax to it and then very good analog cables from it to the integrated Amp.
12 gauge Monster Cable is reasonably good speaker wire. You can get it at Best Buy or Radio Shack and it is reasonably priced. The other cables between components are where you should spend your money.
fantastic i actually have that exact model! I wasn't sure how it would fit into the system but that's great advice. Thanks for the wire thoughts too.
