Every once in a while I can't access the forum, and get a tcp error message. During this time the rest of the Stereophile web site is fine. It started before Stephen's change to the menu, and if I wait five or ten minutes everything is okay. I thought it was just some regular update to or caching of the forum.
Just coincidence, I think. There was no actual change made to the forum.
Over the weekend, Jon Iverson contacted IT about the difficulties, and we hope it'll be straightened out very soon.
Forum seems back to normal for me, Stephen.
Many thanks.
RG
I still get intermittent problems. Sometimes the forum is really slow and sometimes it doesn't come up at all. This doesn't affect the main stereophile website. Only the forums section.
It seems much better to me this afternoon.
Thanks,
Dave
