The February Issue's Here!

"The Record Player Reborn" declare the new issue's cover, referring to reviews of LP players from Oracle, Acoustic Signature, and VPI. But digital isn't forgotten, with John Atkinson raving about about Chord's new $599 portable DAC, Larry Greenhill upgrading his Bryston BDP-2 file player with a new soundboard, and Digital Audio Review's John Darkø kicking off the issue with a guest editorial on the boom in personal listening in Japan. And topping it all off is our annual "Records to Die For" listing: 56 albums every audiophile should have in their collection.

So many great reviews, enjoyed Mr. Dudley's thorough review of the Oracle Delphi, as a previous owner of one I can only hope that Oracle has sorted out their quality issues that I experienced when i owned both an Alexandria and Delphi. I also hope Mr. Deutsch hasn't sold his LP12, as someone who got the upgrade bug several years ago selling my reliable and coloured turntable proved a mistake that I have since regretted. Have said it before but will say it again, bringing Herb Reichert on board was a great coup his phonographic bundles review was so enjoyable. Makes me want to go out and get another turntable (my wife will kill me).

I am so happy. Got my physical copy of the magazine BEFORE it was posted here.

The only thing I don't understand is why subscribers seem to always be the last ones to get their copy
