Of the top of my head the essentials to me are.
Bitches Brew
In A Silent Way
Sketches Of Spain
Jack Johnson
The Man With The Horn
At Carnagie Hall
Birth Of The Cool
'Round Midnight
In A Silent Way
At Newport 1958
I have a lot of Miles. I consider some of the electric stuff to be for fanatics only. I have a lot of the electric stuff. I am not a fanatic. I only have 42 of Miles' LP's and CD's. Having 50 of them would make me a fanatic (Hah).

Seems everyone is testing Jazzfan's knowledge these days. I have to wait until I get home to answer BluesDaddy's Miles Davis question but the Zoot question is just a little bit easier to handle, so I'll give it a shot.

Yep, I know it was from a different thread, but, hey, Jazzfan, where's the list?

Gotta admit I've been taking advantage of my Rhapsody account and listening to a lot of different Miles. Nothing really hits me like Kind of Blue, but I've liked a whole lot of stuff, especially his Tribute to Jack Johnson. So, seriously, what's the next step after you've got KoB, what Miles disc must you have?
