After much consideration I decided to purchase an Esoteric X-05 from Music Direct. They had them on sale with free shipping, and I always wanted to try out one of these machines. Well, it's a good thing I called when I did for I purchased the last one.

Anyway, I've been listening for about a week now, and I am pleased. This is definitely the best sounding source component I've had in my system. As good as my Marantz SA-11S2 is the Esoteric X-05 has taken my system up to another level. The biggest change I'm noticing is the Esoteric allows me to hear further into the mix, and the fade outs last longer. This is one quiet player.
