25 copies? What the hell kind of marketing is that? Artsy-Fartsy? A land of 300 million people and 25 copies of something?

THAT is totally lost on me. Teddy...class is in...you'll have to explain that to me.

"The 78s will be pressed in limited editions of 25 copies, each signed by Costello. No price is mentioned, but the announcement promises more details to come."

Maybe this is a production run?

Free publicity from vaporware.

I bet the music will be great though!

Yeah, it's just a collector's type of package- but a lot of rock musicians do that. It's one of the odder oes I've seen,a s almost no TTs have 78. No good ones anyway. My son's $95 Crosley has 78, but I can't seeing playing a collectable on it.

I'm sure shortly after the 78 version comes out, a standard version will too.

I gotta say, I really appreciated his analogue stance on his last couple of albums. Imagine, songs with harmonies being made all around one mic, not remixed after, and in one take! Music being made musicians, not engineers: what a concept.

Saw E. Costello at the Newport Folk fest two years ago and he was incredible! Great energy and guitar chops, and the band tore it up start to finish.

Nice! Elvis is still one of our modern musical treasures.
