...is lying about the Tea party members ethical or moral?

In which, you have clearly proven JIMV's point about you wanting it both ways.

let me help you once again,

Along with refraining from name calling when your reasoning becomes vacuous during a political debate, It would behoove you to have a set of core values and principles to avoid contradicting yourself.

Re: Election predictions

I think you are doing a great job, JIMV. In fact, you are worthy of being caller a Tea Partier rather than a tea bagger - which I mean as a compliment!

As for my liberal friends, I apologize for their seeing Elmer's cartoon as a threat of violence.

You see, when they were kids, they were the ones you heard about who actually believed that if you got hit in the head with a frying pan, your head would actually assume the shape of that pan until you shook your head and went "bllllll-bbllllll-bbbllll" and and then it popped back into normal shape.

They were sorely surprised when this turned out not to be the case and after trying again 8 or 9 times, eventually became disenchanted and started blaming cartoon violence for their own studipidity....

It was those kids behind the frying pan to the head epidemic of the 60's that made Warner Brothers ruin the Bugs Bunny and Road Runner shows with editing and started this race toward the liberal nanny state.

I'm not on the left. Please cease lying. Lying about someone's political affiliation is neither ethical nor moral.

It is quite clear to me that your political views are so fundamentally, insanely perverted as to suggest that you would identify Barry Goldwater and Dwight D. Eisenhower as leftists.

Interesting.

Too bad the concept of political conservatism has been so bastardized by the "social conservatives."

Political conservatism died a sad death. Run over by the crazy thumpers.

Give me a party headed up by Ike or Barry and I'd jump for it!

Although, J_J....

Barry and Ike were exceedingly pro gun.

Ike never promoted ending the ban on gays in the military. It took years after Ike to get civil rights legislation through Congress.

Goldwater was anti-union and anti-welfare.

Although, Goldwater HATED the religious right and had several pro-gay, pro-choice, and pro seperation of church and state stances.

Barry was also very pro-states rights.

Two interesting guys.

So, if they were alive and politically active today (and weren't 100 years old, of course) what party do you guys think Barry and Ike would belong to, given their policies?

Well, Barry was (and I mean this literally) thrown out of the Republican Party bo the Arizona Republican committee, so he'd have to be not a Republican.

Ike? I think he'd be in the same spot as Spector.

Ike? Democrat.
Barry? Libertarian-leaning Democrat with Republican overtones.

Kinda like me, I'm not anti-gun at all, I'm not anti-abortion, I'm not anti-tax, I'm not anti-civil-rights, and I'm not anti-states-rights.

So I don't have a party. Todays parties, both of them, are the parties of anti.

The Republicans are anti-anything that is unlike the old South, basically, with a nasty demand for religious conformance tossed in for good measure.

I can't even tell what the Democrats are for or against, and I don't think they know either, but they are surely against it.

My favorite fantasy presidental slate:

Fenwick/Goldwater, either order. Getting bull**** past those two would be "interesting", and kinda fun to watch from the sidelines.

So, getting back to the predictions.

For Nevada, there is a choice voters can mark called "none of the above."

I bet we will see a 5% or higher vote for "none of the above" which could have won the election for either candidate.

Two terrible choices.

Didn't Palin get named in several "ethics complaints?"

Luckily, she hung in there and beat the charges....errr.....cashed in and ran away.

Angle promises people "juice" once she gets to D.C.

They are all the same.

Harry's cynical ploy to enforce the Bush Tax hikes in January was the last straw for me. I'm a "none of the above" voter now.

Holy Shit!

I'm a fuckin' Libertarian!

Actually, I knew that. I grew up in the Goldwater era in western Nevada.

Pro-gun

Pro-choice

Fiscal conservative.

However, I do think there should be reasonable social nets.

Example: Hard working minimun wage guy gets his feet and hands cut off because the Libertarians have dismantled OSHA. Three weeks into his care, he hits his million dollar lifetime max and his insurance cuts him off.

The social Golden Rule comes into play and I favor a safety net to help with his medical costs, rehab, job re-education, and helping him keep his family fed while he recovers.
It's not the he should never have to do any work of any kind again, but when his previously livelihood is lost through no fault of his own, that's where my liberalness would start to come into play.

My crystal ball and tarot readings foretell an unhappy November for Satanic witch candidates.

Ohio 9th Congressional District goes with the non-Nazi fetish candidate.

I think the little witch is just as cute as a bug. I would do her. And Plain too. I have no political affiliation when it comes to leg. I'd even do Pelosi. No joke. If Pelosi smells like a skunk you know Lamont has been sniffing that swamp. Lamont knows there are only two kinds of leg; good and better. Good is good enough. Lamont puts on a little Gov't Mule's Thorazine Shuffle, slap on a little Musk for Men, and she is under Lamont's spell.

The debate was a boring tie.

"She's too extreme."

"He's a Washington insider."

"He loves illegals." (If so, why has he kept them illegals for 24 years?)

"She wants to take away health care benefits." (If she really does, then why is she taking advantage of them while she is supposedly campaigning against them?)

They both suck suck suck.

If anyone supports her with a clean conscience, it means that person is an unblinking idiot.

If anyone supports him, it means that person is a fool about to be parted from his money.

What are ya gonna do?

It's as bad as Fiorina/Boxer, only I still vote in Nevada.

If only the red party had nominated a sane person for Senate.

However, I am rooting for Rand Paul, the atheist silver spoon "objectivist."

He'll be a kick with the return to the gold standard and all.

Plus, imagine a generational politician named for one of the most vehement athiests of the 20th century getting elected in the year of the populist thumper! That tells you how wild the country is becoming!

It would be even funnier if he were going to be Senator Byrd's replacement.

So....

Let's say the reds take over the House, but the blues keep a narrow majority in the Senate.

What will become of the Bush tax hike?

Will the reds be able to block the tax increase for those earning above 200/250 without having the whole thing expire, or will they be willing to let the broader tax increase come into effect for everyone and claim they are standing on principle? That would be wild.

I think it will be very interesting.

If the reds go after Obamacare, will they also try to undo Bushcare and revoke the trillion dollar unfunded Medicare Part D mandate?

The one thing I hope for is that everyone brushes up on their logical consistency before the next Conress opens.

Too early to tell. Dick Morris predicts the reds could win up to 100 seats. Personally, I think that is being way too generous.

In my opinion, I think two things could happen.

1. IF, and this is a big IF, the repubs do as Dick Morris predicts with the 100 seat thing, Obama will have no other alternative but to work with the Repubs like Clinton did after the '94 sweep. Which, if you think about it, would be beneficial for Obama like it was with Clinton as far as the economy is concerned. Obama can take credit it, and it will be a win/win for him in the long run.

2. Or Obama will wear out his veto pen, leaving the only alternative to be a 2/3 majority vote to override the Obama veto's. Which will hurt Obama in the long run. It will be very interesting.

Of course, it could turn into business as usual.. the repubs take control of the House and Senate, lose their spine, and do nothing like they did at the beginning of Bushs' first term. I'm somewhat pessimistic when it comes to the repubs... they have showed me nothing in the last 10 years.

It would be great if government couldn't accomplsh anything!

Bush with a red Congress was a disaster. The only thing that saved his ass is Obama is managing to out deficit Bush's deficit record!

Red on red from 200-2008 was awful.

Blue on blue is just as bad, except the dumb ass teabaggers think it all started in 2009.

Clinton, Bush I, and Reagan all did better with opposite party legislators.

So, yes, I am very happy that the country is rejecting the left in a manner not seen in most peoples lifetime.

Jim,

The leftists know that America has rejected the democrat party in Washington and their agenda. Obama is at 41%, and the democrat congress is at 19% approval.

The leftists know that a huge majority of the democrats are running away from Obama and his statist ideology. They are even stating in key districts that they have voted with republicans 70%...80%.. of the time in congress. Bobby Bright who is in the 2nd district here is running ads over and over saying he voted against the healthcare takeover. Of course we know better.....He voted LATE when his vote did not matter anymore.

Western european socialism has been rejected and that is why the leftists are angry and are outright lying about Constitutionalists who love freedom and liberty. They resort to the baser elements like name calling and statements like,...."Why do you hate America."

The leftists are simply out of excuses and have resorted to just trying to smear conservatives

I would hate to be David Axelrod at this point.

Oh, brother.

We get driven into a ditch between 2000 and 2008 and what the fuck were you dopes thinking then?

Where was your dumb ass tea party when Reagan eliminated loan interest tax deductions in 1986?

Where were you when fuck ass words like "Patriot Act" and "Homelend Security" were being put in place?

You old bastards were awfully quiet when DuckBushRedHouseRedSenate invented a trillion dollar unfunded health care mandate in 2003 with Medicare Part D. Not a peep about how it mandated drugs be covered at full retail with no right to negotiate drug prices.

Trouble with the tebaggers is your "rage" is so disingenuous.

If you were sincere, you'd have been trying to chase Bush out of DC and bring Clinton back....if you really wanted fiscal responsibility.

Do you go on "auto-shut-up" when a red party guy is in DC?

So, did you guys jump onto AM talk radio and "word up" this week, or something? No way 'yall are coming up with these words at the same time all on your own.

Did the "rightists" know that America had rejected the Republican party in Washington in 2006 and 2008 and their agenda?

Look at the teabaggers pics....it's a bunch of pending retirement or retirement entitlees looking out for number one....same as any other special interest group.

Why is Bush spending like a liberal.

Where was your dumb ass tea party when Reagan eliminated loan interest tax deductions in 1986?

Where were you when Reagan ended the Cold War with Russia

Where were you when fuck ass words like "Patriot Act" and "Homelend Security" were being put in place?

What did you expect Bush to do at that time, throw endless parties like Obama and Michelle do in the Rose Garden and just say "Screw it"

You old bastards were awfully quiet when DuckBushRedHouseRedSenate invented a trillion dollar unfunded health care mandate in 2003 with Medicare Part D. Not a peep about how it mandated drugs be covered at full retail with no right to negotiate drug prices.

I was quiet because I wasn't on the forum at that time, so you couldn't hear me.

Trouble with the tebaggers is your "rage" is so disingenuous.

I wasn't aware that a "rage measurement gauge" existed.

If you were sincere, you'd have been trying to chase Bush out of DC and bring Clinton back....if you really wanted fiscal responsibility.

You forget...Republicans took over the house in 1994. If that wouldn't have happened Clinton would have spent like a drunken sailor.

Do you go on "auto-shut-up" when a red party guy is in DC?

No, because thats when the leftists get really wacky.. when thier out of power.

So, did you guys jump onto AM talk radio and "word up" this week, or something? No way 'yall are coming up with these words at the same time all on your own.

Actually contrary to popular leftist belief, intelligence actually exists in conservative circles.

Did the "rightists" know that America had rejected the Republican party in Washington in 2006 and 2008 and their agenda?

Yes, and buyers remorse is now settling in on those that voted for Obama because of thier disapproval of Bush. Hell, even congressional democrats are running away from him

Look at the teabaggers pics....it's a bunch of pending retirement or retirement entitlees looking out for number one....same as any other special interest group.

My! how the leftists love showing thier appreciation for pending retirment or retired military men and women.

I think Clifton's best indicator to buy gold is watching all you dumbasses.

This post proved my prior point of how leftists resort to name calling when their policies get rejected.

Yeah, the teabaggers were awfully silent.

Where was your dumb ass tea party when Reagan eliminated loan interest tax deductions in 1986?

That wasn't the question.

Where were you when fuck ass words like "Patriot Act" and "Homelend Security" were being put in place?

You expected him to undermine your Constitutional rights? I thought the baggers liked the Constitution....unless their guy desecrates it.

Gonna undo Medicare Part D now?

Trouble with the tebaggers is your "rage" is so disingenuous.

I wasn't aware that a "disingenuous measurement gauge" existed.

It's the smell of bullshit that gives it away, actually.

If you were sincere, you'd have been trying to chase Bush out of DC and bring Clinton back....if you really wanted fiscal responsibility.

You forget...Republicans took over the house in 1994. If that wouldn't have happened Clinton would have spent like a drunken sailor.

So, with Bush having a red House and a Red Senate, we really cut into that deficit, didn't we? I mean, we had the same party in the HOuse and Senate that Clinton did, according to your logic.

Do you go on "auto-shut-up" when a red party guy is in DC?

No, because thats when the leftists get really wacky.. when thier out of power.

If you want wacky, check the percentage increase in the budget deficit that Bush pulled on us.

So, did you guys jump onto AM talk radio and "word up" this week, or something? No way 'yall are coming up with these words at the same time all on your own.

Actually contrary to popular leftist belief, intelligence actually exists in conservative circles.

The nation barely survived the vandalism brought upon it by the red Prez, House, and Senate from 2000-2006. If you guys have an intellectual hidden somewhere, bring him out!

Did the "rightists" know that America had rejected the Republican party in Washington in 2006 and 2008 and their agenda?

Yes, and buyers remorse is now settling in on those that voted for Obama because of thier disapproval of Bush. Hell, even congressional democrats are running away from him

I'll give you that one!

Look at the teabaggers pics....it's a bunch of pending retirement or retirement entitlees looking out for number one....same as any other special interest group.

My! how the leftists love showing thier appreciation of retired military men and women.

Wrapping yourself in the flag now? Ewwwww.

I think Clifton's best indicator to buy gold is watching all you dumbasses.

This post proved my prior point of how leftists resort to name calling when their policies get rejected. Too easy.

Rejecting your dumbass premise is not calling you names....you have a load of creepy witch/Nazi dress-up crazy people out there....you guys are loonier than Pelosi!

Crazy chick is up 2 points over Reid in the newest RCP meta-poll.

Harry may soon just be another parasite sucking at the teat of the government pension program.
