First off...nice setup. Thosee Wharfedale Jade's are awesome speakers.

Regarding the dynamic EQ, the question is are you happy with the sound you are getting after installing the pad? If the answer is yes, then don't do anything. If you aren't re-running it may help. The initial calibration takes into account the room as it was, but you have now altered the room and the way sound reflects with the addition of the isolation pad.

If you are happy and like the sound profile and output levels, I wouldn't screw with it. If you aren't happy rerun and see the result. If it is easy to take up the pad and revert to initial setup profile, then this seems like it would be an interesting exercise to see if the Dynamic EQ is trying to achieve a slightly muddier sound.

Thanks bierfeldt,
Yeah I was thinking the same way, the bass is cleaned up and tight with the isolation pad and I am really happy with the sound so I might just live with it for a while and play a wide variety of music as a test over time. As you said it would not be difficult to recalibrate and if the sound changed for the worse a new recalibration could be completed fairly easily. I also put in a question to ELAC to get their input and advice on use of their subwoofer with an isolation pad and I will take their advice into consideration.
