I have been all over the selections under "My Account" and do not see an option for deleting my account.
Is this possible ? If so, how do I do it?

I created the account to comment on a Stephen Mejias post from the front page. I realize that for a number of sites I either do not use the account or I created the account and used it a few times but never to the point of warranting its existence.
Therefore, I have spent part of this week removing accounts I do not use or want to use anymore.

Deleting your stupid account is going to delete your very important message to Mr. Meijas. So, going around wasting administrators time all over the Internet in your feeble attempt to prevent the gaurds from finding out you have been playing at work.
