Yes, I made an announcement of Sam's resignation on Stereophile's Facebook page.
Sam resigned on New Year's Eve, as we were about to ship the March issue to the printer. An appreciation of his contributions to Stereophile will appear in that issue, which will hit newsstands in 2 weeks.
John Atkinson
Editor, Stereophile
I just learned of Sam Tellig's/ Tom Gillett's departure from the March issue. Tellig was a great part of Stereophile for as long as I've been reading (since 1992). He had wonderful humor in his writing and brought to our attention many valuable components and companies. I think of LFD and Unison right off-the-bat.
I am sure I speak for many readers when I say that he will be sorely missed. I wish him luck.

I am so sad to hear/ read about Mr. Tellig's departure. One of my all-time favorite writers. I love everyone with Stereophile but, I truly loved his style of writing. Good look Mr. Tellig and I will miss your great writing style and sense of humor!
I miss Wes Phillips as well.
