Consonance CD120-the final piece for my 2 channel system!!

I just picked up a Consonance CD120 CD player that rounds out my 2 channel rig. I really like the way this unit playes music. Very dynamic, great soundstage, very tight & powerfull bass, just very musical to my ears. Not to mention getting a great deal on it being a demo piece. The rest of the rig is a Conrad Johnson PV14L tube preamp, a VanAlstine OmegaStar 440EX (220x2) ss amp, playing thru AAD 2001 monitors. I am tickled pink on how this system sounds. I think I wiil be quite content for some time to come. Cheers to great music listening!!!!

Super! I've never listened to any Consonance equipment. How did you go about selecting your gear...and how long did it take you to pur her all together? Lay it on us...if you are willing.

Monty, do yourself a favor & give the Consonance gear a listen. It really is that good. I do a lot of web searching for audio gear & frequent a few audio forums. When it comes to buying gear I must listen to it in my system. If the dealers don't allow home auditions I shop elsewhere. I have bought on line from dealers who allow a 30 day audition. I have sent some gear back & I have kept some. Lucky for me I found an outstanding dealer, Stephen Monte owner of Questforsound.com. He carries the complete Consonance line along with other hi-end gear & speakers. He welcomes home auditions for local clientel. He gets the first call when I'm looking for new gear. I've been piecing my system together now for about 3yrs. Many more happy years to go!!!!
