Classical music for vinyl collectors

Searching the net for some obscure recordings, I stumbled across this appropriately named Canadian site: http://www.mikrokosmos.com/index.html.

It's a site that sells used LPs and 78s, with some of the titles looking quite tempting. The full catalog is a 66 page, single-spaced Word document with nearly 4000 titles for March.

I'm not a vinyl guy, but this may help nudge me toward getting a cheap turntable.

Todd, thanks for letting us know about the site! It's tremendous. Only reaffirms my conviction in getting analog into my system.

Another great store with few thousands of classical LPs

Hornet Records

Focus on Melodiya, Muza, Hungaroton, Jugoton and other EE labels, with photo(s) of each item, sometimes for both cover and label.

Nice selection of discs by Daniil Shafran, Furtwangler, early Mercury Living Presence releases, Belgium Decca, Alpha and Cultura releases etc.
