100 watts per speaker is entirely adequate for the Vandersteen 2Ce (sensitivity-86dB/W/m), unless you have a very large room. But of course many people aspouse more power is better for improved dynamics.

What Jackfish says seems perfect to me.
To maybe miss the mark a little, I've heard the Channel islands amps with Von Schweikert speakers and was amazed at how great they sounded. (I think the Von Schweikert speakers remind me alot of Vandersteens.)
Anyway, I agree with Jackfish about the dynamic benefits of the D-200.
