B&W CDM 1NT vs. NHT Classic Three?

I'm the original owner of a pair of B&W CDM 1NT's and I was wondering if anyone here has ever really listened to a pair of NHT Classic threes (newest version w/aluminum woofer, not one reviewed in Stereophile)and could tell me if they're on par with the B&W's or not?

I have an opportunity to buy a brand new pair (unopened box of the Classic Threes at a very discounted price and wondered if they could even replace the B&W's that I bought in either 02 or 03. I'd have to go through my box of receipts to be positive as to the year of purchase but I believe they're about 8 years old.

One concern I have and maybe its unfounded is how much longer can I expect the CDM 1NT's to last, they've always been kept in a non-smoking air conditioned environment. I drive them with a Parasound Halo amp but never to extreme levels.

I still have the original box that the 1NT's came in and the manual but I haven't checked yet to see what they're selling for at this time when in near mint condition.

Thanks so much in advance for any feedback you can give.

Has anyone here heard the NTH

Has anyone here heard the NTH Classic Threes with gear that they're familiar with has to gauge the quality of their sound?

My B&W's are about 8 years old but when new they sold for nearly double of what the NHT's are going for I've read great things about the Classic Threes and have a chance to get a new pair at a great price. I may end up buying the speakers and just keeping both pairs but I'd love to hear some opinions on the Classic Threes.

Thanks.
