building a dual mono block amp... what kinds...

are there in the 75 watt - 150 watt blocks for say $750- $1000 per block? any recommendations would be helpful. i like a natural non-colorized sound. thanks, john

i guess...

this probably won't happen, at least for this price as i'm finding out the krell 150 watt mono blocks go for $2500 a piece. oh well back to the drawing board.

Why not try the Emotiva UPA-1s for 30 days

and if they don't do it for you send them back for a purchase price refund? You might be pleasantly surprised.

can i stack the emotivas...

on top of one another? i'm just wondering about space requirements.

Yes, they can be stacked as long as

they are not confined otherwise by, for example, an enclosed cabinet. Emotiva has said they can be stacked five high without heat dissapation problems.
