I had recently assembled a very satisfying system comprising of MacBook Pro full of AIFF 16/44.1 Red Book transfers and HD Tracks 24/96 AIFF downloads ran through Audioengine D1 to Blue Aura v30 Blackline used as a headphone amp for HD600. The D1's headphone's amp proved to be very compressed and somewhat lifeless as compared to v30 which offered sweet, detailed and lush sound. I'm wondering how would the v30 stack up agains Little Dot Mk.III? I only wish Blue Aura would offer the sweet little tube amp without the underperforming speakers or came up with design offering at least 5.25" driver for deeper lows. I think at $399.00 the v30 amp would be an excellent value with great performance for any Audiophile on the budget!
