I would imagine that it will do that.

250 ohms is a much easier load to drive than many lower impedance headphones.

They don't actually give an output impedance spec., but they imply that it will drive any headphone.

To really free yourself to move around, though, I suggest the Sennheiser RS180 wireless headphones.

I recently bought a pair so that I can listen as loud as I want in any location in the house with no wires.

They are excellent. The sound quality nearly equals my Vandersteen Treo speakers.

The background is dead silent and they have no negative features of any kind, and are lightweight and comfortable.

They also adjust nicely to my head, which requires a size 8 1/2 hat (hard to find).

Thanks for the response, and sorry I didn't respond until now!

Having received the headphones now, I'm rather surprised to find that the headphones actually need no amplification whatsoever to reach normal listening levels, even though they have 5 times the impedance of what I used to listen to, and had trouble driving (Sennheiser HD280's). I'm still looking for another headphone amp, but recently saw a Craigslist entry for a Scarlett 2i2 and am looking at making a bit of a drive to pick that up for relatively cheap.

I'd love to get a pair of dedicated listening headphones for moving around, but I just feel too self-conscious about wearing headphones in public to justify getting those :). I have a pair of thinksound ms01's, though, which are far louder than I'll ever need, and I'm fairly happy with those. Nice, warm, sound; I'd never use them for studio work so long as I have anything else, as they are a tad harsh in the high end and warm the bass a little, but they are perfect for budget listening.
