With Beatlemania sweeping the nation again, well kind of, they have been in heavy rotation in my house. So this has me thinking about the lyrics again. I'm looking for a book that explains the songs. I know several exist and came across this on Amazon: A Hard Day's Write, 3e: The Stories Behind Every Beatles Song by Steve Turner. Has anybody read this? Are there others that may be considered more definitive? Thanks.

Robert Baird mentioned A Hard Day's Write and several other Beatles-related books in his October issue "Aural Robert."

I always found the two songs eerily similar.

RECORDING THE BEATLES
best beatles book ever. pricey but worth it

still...if you are a beatles fan and dont own the above book.(recording the beatles)...you are not a serious fan.
