24 days between December 1 and 25. Plenty of time.
Did the distributor offer a reason for the back order? Are they all on vacation? Are they dependent upon another supplier who is having problems?

"No need to spread nonsense. Shipments are going normally, there is normal lead time on all models. Some can ship instantly, some take a bit of time. Last time I checked there was nothing abnormal. When demand increases, you can have supply trail by a week or two. But like with ANYTHING else during the hot selling season - ordering early is good practice."
