If a piece of electronic gear is red and has a prancing horse on it, it improves the sound. It's the horse, of course!

Of course and the horse works just as well on my Ferrari Giallo F80.

Nonsense! My Meridian F80 Tuner/CD/DVD player in the kitchen is white and it's as good as the red ones - and that's very good. In fact when they cart me off to the senile audiophools retirement home it's the system that'll go with me despite the fact it does look like the wheel arch off a Ferrari.
