I am guessing that they would have to go in "dedicated listening room" as I wonder if the WAF is near zero on this model. They probably sound fantastic. They may need a large, recangular frame with some grille cloth stretched over the frame to make it work in a real living space.
Just wanted to document the time this German speaker spent in my listening room, during the preparation of a review to appear in the September 2010 Stereophile. I ended up driving it with the Audio Research VSi60 integrated amplifier (on top of the 2 Classe monoblocks in the center), which is also reviewed in September. Main source was the dCS Puccini (top right), recently updated with new filters, including one similar to the Meridian "apodizing" filter.
