7 ga. into a 15A IEC connector!!

What brilliant line of BS....and the price!!! More brilliance. What device that uses an IEC 15A or less connector needs to have 7ga. wire to deliver the required voltage and current....and they cover it in CLOTH....modern materials science has developed wire coverings and insulations that got rid of 1930's 1920's cloth covered wires!!! When does the nonsense stop? I bet....the cloth SOUNDS better....riiiiight? 7ga wire onto a CD player, oh yeah.....I don't have 7 ga wire feeding my electric water heater, and that can cook some water, ya really need 7ga for home audio? In anything? Only in Bizzaro world. http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PSPREPC&variation=2.0
