Great! I hope you like it.
Yes, I'm enjoying it very much. I especially like the pull-out section just for DUP.
By the way, was "As We See It" your first by-line in print? Congratulations!
Awesome. Glad to hear it.
I've contributed a few record reviews, and the last few Product of the Year features, but this is my first "As We See It." I was really excited about it. Thanks very much.
I don't like it. It is a waste. It is for 20 years old brain-deads.
So, sir, I see you are trying about as hard as possible to ingratiate yourself into our casual community. I looked up Grosse Fatigue and came up with the following film synopsis:
A famous actor/writer/director is accused of a string of embarrassing incidents which have actually been perpetrated by his lookalike. It transpires that the lookalike's life has been ruined by his resemblance to his famous double and he's out looking for a little payback.
So is this your paranoid delusional reason d'etre? You think somehow Stereophile has ruined your life or something? That the existence of the forum is causing you unjust pain because it doesn't live up to your "standards?" Or do you just have nothing to do, coupled with a lot of misplaced anger, feel the need to add nothing and vent on the forum?
It's kind of sad really... But you you won't get any sympathy from me.
grosse: i will just bet that there are several other hobby forums out there that would really benefit from your deep insights. you should not just confine your wisdom to this one but spread the love liberally to those who are not fortunate enough to enjoy your wisdom yet.

curmudgeon on, GF, grumps are especially appreciated by me on the holidays.
One of my best friends always calls on xmas to say "bah, humbug" and then hangs up.
Such reminders of the incredible diversity of humans gives me great joy.
I noticed that in the loudspeaker section most of the "List Price" were per pair, a few per speaker and others no price at all. But when it comes to our favorite past time price is no object.
Sometimes manufacturers failed to give us pricing info. When we knew for certain what the prices were, we added them. When we weren't sure, and our attempts to find out were unsuccessful, we left the cells blank.
Except for subwoofers, which are priced individually, loudspeaker prices should be per pair. I deeply regret any errors, and I'm working on a way to make sure that the errors aren't repeated next year.
Stephen,
No need to apologize for it must have been a monumental task assembling all that info. Besides, anyone with half a brain, which I believe most Stereophile readers have, would recognize if an equipment price seems too out of line.
Thanks for the marvelous job done on the Buyer's Guide.
Mike
