[£130/$200] On-Ear Headphone for Hip-Hop listening

Greetings,

I'm looking for the best pair of headphone with my price range for long-peroid listening mainly subgenres of hip-hop old and new.. mostly new york style e.g. [A Tribe Called Quest, Slum Village, MF Doom, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Nas, Wu Tang & Odd Future, Kendrick Lamar] and maybe some with heavy drums.

I've been recommended the Onkyo ES-FC300 (32 ohm) because of the good bass and clarity. I can pick this pair up for £100. could anyone else recommend me a pair which i should consider?

Thank you

Hi gza, I see that you

Hi gza, I see that you haven't gotten an answer after 2 days, so I suggest that you post your question on the Innerfidelity forum, which is a Stereophile-related site that specializes in headphones and earphones.

Onk for Wu

Those Onkyo's are highly recommended by InnerFidelity.  You can look at the "Wall of Fame" too for best recommended ones at different price points.  Sennheiser Momentum on-ears and Phiaton MS-400 are also excellent sounding 'phones in the price range too, and (like the Onkyo's) they both happen to look cool as well.

For me, the Phiatons are the most comfortable, so for listening for long periods of time I would choose those.
