It seems unforgivable that any subscribers would be left short. How does that happen? I noticed that same issue was on the local newsstand at a hefty price, as usual.
I understand your concern with a hole in the collection.
We dropship the magazine to regional mailing centers. The newsstands copies often are on display before subscribers receive their issues, I am afraid, and we have no control over what happens to magazines once they enter the mail system.
I have sent tmorosk both a private message and an email asking him for his street address so I can mail him a replacement, but he hasn't responded yet.

I haven't received a message or E-mail John .
Email is as follows . tmsorosk@gmail.com Thanks .
Tim
Ah, the email address I had on-file had a "2" after your name. But all I need is your street address. Email it to me at john.atkinson@sorc.com and I'll put a January issue in the mail to you tomorrow.
I sympathize with the angst. I have a complete collection of The Absolute Sound going back to Issue #1, except I am missing one issue. You can imagine how that irritates.

Hello John .
Well , ten days after the February issue arrived the January issue showed up . It's very tattered and has some strange markings on it that the wife tells me are Arabic . Kind of looks like it took a short cut through Afghanistan or some such . But it's here !
Thanks for your replies and concern .
Tim
So it was lost in the mail after all. I'm glad to learn that's all it was.
