MSB New Chassis

MSB didn't have any new products on hand, but they have been busy spiffing up the look of a few of their existing products. Shown in the photo is the latest version of the new casework with cleaner lines and reworked "euro-style" heatsinks.

No doubting the sonic qualities of the MSB gear which I've heard on several occasions including in a friend's highly optimized and amazing sounding system.  But as for the packaging, you call this "spiffing up"??  Srsly?  

I found the old look an acquired taste but it seems the shiny anodization and gold accents appealed to some.  What looks like black crackle finish is considered a step up aesthetically?  And that huge logo, eeeuuuuch!  Hope MSB decides to do these very fine sounding products the justice of some prettier casework..

It would almost have to look better in person.

I'm thinking an even more high tech version of those "military" style iPad cases.
