I use "BurnAware Free". It seems to work well.

I think it does that.

it seems burnaware free does not have the option to write DVD-A. (only audio cd, mp3-disc and DVD-video.) anyone else?

Probably. I use a different program but use the data disc option as the way to record hi Rez audio to a regular DVD-R disc (or DVD+R)

by the way, whats the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R? i always thought that was a "dash" in the DVD-R.

There are technical differences between the 2 types, and several years ago some machines were compatible with only one or the other type. But nowadays they are interchangeable unless you use a pretty old computer

the recordable dvd can be EITHER -R or +R. Doesn't matter which one, unless your equipment is picky about it - and odds are that your eqpt will handle either.
