My mom's simple am/fm radio that played all afternoon started me in the hobby. Then came hi-end blank cassettes and car audio.
People ask me over and over: How do we get more young people involved in the hi-fi hobby?
The best answer to that question is right here, in this photograph. Countless people have explained to me that they became interested in hi-fi through a parent. When I mentioned that to the gentleman in this photo, he laughed and said, “My dad was an audiophile, too.”
