The one thing that really bothers me about the Sherbourn PRE-1, not that it will affect its performance as a preamplifier, is that on the Sherbourn PRE-1 webpage it states that this unit has the "Intelligent Features" of an "...integrated bass manager for 2.1 operation and adjustable high-pass and low-pass outputs and a headphone output, the PRE-1 is ready for virtually any system." Well, the unit does not have a subwoofer output and there is nothing in the manual about how to configure high-pass or low-pass outputs. I'm surprised at this lack of attention to detail displayed by Sherbourn. I haven't seen anything like it from Emotiva.
