Can someone at Stereophile.com (webmaster ... Ariel Bitran, Stephen Mejias??) please (FINALLY!!!) publish this "classic" under Equipment Reviews?

I prepare the archive reviews for posting to the website. I'll add this Grado review to the queue. It should be posted in the next couple of weeks.

Cool!

FYI ... This classic model has become one of the most $$ and in-demand headphones in the pantheon. I'm glad I got mine when it still retailed for $600. (lately, I've seen them for as high as $3500)

What may have led to its renaissance is improvement (evolution) of amplification equipment. The newer, better amps REALLY seem to bring the HP-1 into its own...even when compared directly to top-line Sennheiser HD800, Beyer T1 and Hifiman & Audeze planar models.
