And I've been telling anyone who will listen that Androids beat them hands down.
But most 'Muricans are robots. So you fight the good fight and hope some people are listening.
IMO Apple and it's products are a lot like Bose. Their respective ad campaigns are among the best I've ever seen. They both have a very enthusiastic owner/user base. They both also make mediocre to OK products that are extremely overpriced.
I am not disparaging Apple...I own and like an iMAC (with Pure Music Software). My problem with the iPOD line is that it has not seen any audio impreovement in a good decade while phones are todays cutting edge. My android phone does not even note the improved music capability. I simply stumbled on it when I loaded some music and was not picky about file type or size...Well, the Poweramp APP tells the user the sample rate of the file being played and my 96HZ files play 96HZ...which also indicates the DAC is doing the same AND, the sound through speakers or headphones is simply better than I get on my iPOD. A Lot Better.
