warming up your solid state amp??

The amp will do any warmup while you listen. Perhaps things will sound better after some warmup. I just listen right away. I'm not going to sit and twittle my thumbs while the amp might warmup.

You'll either perceive a difference or you won't.  It certaily isn't going to affect the amp either way.

It usually takes from 3 to 10 minutes for the biasing to stabilize, at idle.

The bias will change more, however, as the amplifier is used and gets a bit hotter.

I would wait 5 minutes before using an amplifier for best the sonic results. There is not much pint in waiting longer.
