You could get the well regarded Jolida JD9 phono preamp to use with the JD801BRC.

A pair of Zu Omens would work great with a tube amp in your big room.

What sources other than a turntable are you considering?

I'm not a CD person, but I will be running some sort of DAC at some point.  I'm really trying to sort out where to go with that but keep getting bogged down in amps/speakers.  I'm going to check out the Zu Omen's.  Thanks for the recomendation.
