bump...2 years later. yes. still trying to find info.
There's a set for sale $129 on eBay, search "Vintage centrex stereo headphones"
I found a pair myself and have been researching. These seem to belong to an old phone services company. I assume that they were used in the 70's and 80's possibly 60's as corded headsets for phones. I found a wiki page that was created yesterday that gives all of the details. The page should be titled "Centrex". as to why they would go for $129.99 on ebay, I am baffled. I'm planning on selling mine on the basis that they have quality sound and a vintage look without the bulk. You're right though they sound great.
I have a pair of CH-350 Centrex. They are made in Japan. The name of the enterprise is Pioneer Electronics of America which is located in Long Beach, California. I'm not sure if this company still existing (in case it is not the current Pioneer). I have the original box maybe I'll upload the images if you are interested.
Regards
Edit:
According to google maps there it is located Pioneer (the current company). But Don't know why Pioneer has any info about. Just about some old speakers and soud system named Centrex. But nothing about the headphones.
Wow! Thanks guys. I'd love a coupe of pics by the way. I love there headnes so much I think i'll just keep them.
