IF it is coming from your power lines, you can fliter the power line by getting a replacement power plug and installing a NON-Polarized capacitor rated at .01 microfarad at 400 volts or higher on the plug and plugging it into an unused AC socket in the same circuit as the computer. Be sure to insulate all bare connections with sleeving.

Another possibility is that it is coming through your internet connection/modem. getting rid of it is going to be more difficult, if that is the case. Is your internet connection also hosting cable TV content.

Hi all.

This question won't let me sleep ... :P

Ok, so. Every time when I'm trying to record something on my computer using direct input method I can hear TV in my headphones.
I can clearly hear TV presenter.
It's coming to me probably from my neighbours, (I don't use anything else besides my workstation when I record).
I figured it's from power source because my room is soundproofed and I can hear this noise only when I have headphones on.

HOW CAN I BLOCK IT AND HEAR SILENCE FROM POWER SOURCE ???

Best :)

Hey, thanks for response.
Yes, I have one cable providing both TV and Internet, but this cable wasn't connected to my computer.

Best,
Matt.

Haha, I think I found the answer. It's all about ballanced or unballanced audio cables :)

When I test it I will post here the results.
