Salk?
LSA?
Vapor?
DIY?
Rick Craig of Selah Audio in North Carolina made these for me. They are Veritas monitors with a paper 7 inch scan speak illuminator woofer. i had him make me a pair before the price increase took effect in early 2012. www.selahaudio.com
Ported or sealed?
rear ported.
The excellent performance of the Philharmonic Audio (R. Dennis Murphy) Philharmonic 3 clearly shows that at least that model of the Raal ribbon tweeter (an OEM only version of the RAAL 10D), is capable of truly excellent performance in its passband and extends very smoothly into low ultrasonics. The Philharmonic 3 used that in combination with a Bohlender-Graebener Neo8 planar midrange, which proved to be a very good match to the small ribbon tweeter. Sadly, that loudspeaker is no longer available new, and was not produced in large quantities, so few will get to experience it.

None of my comment here should be taken as any sort of disparagement against Rick Craig's very good efforts. But Murphy's Phil3 outperforms your 2way monitors by wide margin.
