I bought the uncompressed 24/96 download and the sound is really so nice! I have an old American pressing and have not compared the two, but the download is smoothe. The music is not the greatest, some killer tracks and some filler, but man it sounds good.

Steely Dan - Countdown To Ecstasy - 1973
...it's outrageous
the Herman's Hermits recording? Honestly, that seems like a lot of data for my preconception of that music. Does it sound great? Was it well recorded? I am quite curious about it.

David Gilmour - LIVE in Gdansk - 2006
Robbie Robertsons , Clairvoyant , Wonderful sonics as to be expected from this great artist , Support from some of the biggest guns in the biz , Luv it .
Alison Krauss & Union Station , Paper Airplane , Sweet vocals and Yeah Jerry Douglas the Mohammed Ali of the guilboard , I gotta see them live !
Regarding the post from Drtrey3 , I bought the McCartney cd, Don't go for the download thing I want the hard copy in my hands , As for the music I suppose its a matter of taste but the remaster at Abbey Road is to say the least wonderful , He has the best on this planet working for him .
Soulful.terrian , Steely Dans Countdown , Very cool as all of their stuff is , And thanks for your pops on my system , My axe is sadly not an original Les Paul gold top , Wish it was, However it is a very good copy so much so they stopped them making this, Thus it is as they call her the Lawsuite Special. Still cranking out beautiful sounds after 40 some odd years.
Lawsuite Special - LOL! I hear ya. You know, Tokai made an almost identical copy of a LP years ago, and that guitar sounded awesome. I think it was made in Japan. The one I heard had the P-90's in it.
Led Zeppelin - Mothership - 2007
First, I love the set and every song but one is better than I ever heard them before. But my hopes for a copy of the Immigrant Song that was not compressed to within an inch of its life went unanswered! The rest of the record has great dynamics and superb bass, but they squezzed all of that out of the Immigrant Song when the mixed it!

Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii - 1972
...always buzzworthy
Very nice Mark! Currently listening to David Gilmour's 1st solo CD.
Yeah, I love that one. Mihalis is a cool jam.
Just picked up a copy of Paul McCartney Archive Collection , Band On The RUN , Abbey Road Studios does it again in this release of a wonderful cd . If your a fan pick one up , Nice work on this old gem, Also polaroids from Linda , Never heard her play that moog, if thats what she used, so well on Mamunia . OK Cheers !
Jethro Tull-Aqualung in 5.1 from the boxed set in Blu ray[if only it was this good sounding back in the day]
John Norum - Face The Truth - 1992
John is the ex-guitarist of the band Europe. John also played with Dokken after George Lynch left. This guy can smoke, and like alot of other great guitarists of the 80's and 90's, Norum was overshadowed by Eddie Van Halen. But not by much :-)

Pink Floyd-Wish You Were Here 5.1 mix from the Blu ray] all we need now is a 5.1 mix of Animals and The Wall.
The Mermen - The Amazing California Health and Happiness Road Show - 2001
San Francisco psychedelic surf music at its finest. Flippin' groovy!

I've heard/seen this concert before on HDTV broadcast, but bought the Blu-Ray disk today, and it sounded much better. Fed from the 46" Sony XBR4's optical output to the Grace m903 DAC (stereo).
I think this year my Christmas wish list to family and friends will contain only Blu-Ray concerts.
