edit: Why was the post deleted?
I find it blatantly biased by the main stream media concerning gas prices heading upward with really no relief in sight, that they would find every single reason under the sun for the rise in gas prices BUT! No where in the media are they attributing the gas prices to Obama's moratorium on drilling! of course, with the exception of Fox news.
Common sense: When Obama issued the moratorium, gas prices started to rise immediately. OPEC seized upon this immediately.
History proves that when the U.S. even mentions expanding drilling whether it be onshore or off, OPEC drops the price per barrel.
Secondly, with the U.S. dollar being the worlds standard bearer for investment, and Obama de-valuing the dollar with bailouts and uncontrolled spending, the price of a barrel of crude goes up because projections are based on the value of the dollar.
A simple question needs to be asked, and Obama needs tell the American public just exactly why he will not let the Department of Energy issue the drilling permits it needs to give America the relief it needs.
But if you watched Obama's Brazil speech, he promised to help them develop their offshore drilling (millions of dollars) and told them that we want to buy oil from them.
...insane..

Mark:
I deleted my original post myself. Seems there isn't a delete button.
I was going to rant on the fact that the Senate is once again grilling the CEO's from the 5 largest oil companies ... just like they do everytime Americans bitch about the cost of gasoline or the oil company tax breaks make headlines and, of course, there will be no changes from the grilling ... the Senators will lunch with the CEO's to ensure their continued campaign contributions and they will divert the blame to Wall St. speculators or to the War on Drugs or terrorist activity or illegal aliens or cane frogs or the cost of a cup of coffee in Berlin, etc.
However, I didn't want to be topic 666 so I tried to delete the damn thing. :)
Jeff
lol! can't say I blame ya Bro. :-)
Some years back, I read a piece about a guy who explored the history of the mark of the beast and the number 666. He concluded that the passage of time skewed the number and it's certainly not 666. I don't remember what the supposed factual number is, but it was in the ballpark.
Superstitious AND an idiot. Big surprise. Oil prices are going up because of speculation and the fact there are fewer ways to make money the asshole way.
Let me guess, Jeff- You smile every time you pump gasoline into your tank. You utterly disingenous asshole.
PS- Dont worry about the post number... You'll probably go to hell anyways.
Aa a matter of fact, I do.
And I'm glad you admit yr a disenguous asshole. Good to see you agree that Americans are the problem, and not Big Oil's tax subsidies.
Gee, why did you get so mad when I called you narcissistic? You freely admit it, with a smile!
