is so cool. At my computer I listen through my old 3040 and it is great fun. I was wondering if the tube amp Stephen listened to might be a better match with easier speakers.

I've been wondering the same thing. I tried the amp with the PSB Alpha B1s and Klipsch Synergy B-20s.  I'd like to spend some more time with it, using John DeVore's Gibbon 3s, which have a relatively flat impedance. 

JoLida's Michael Allen also wonders if the amp had a bad coupling capacitor.  He would like to send a second sample.  I'll compare it to the first and report back in a Follow-Up.

I must admit to wanting to like the Jolida! It looks so cool and is so affordable. Color me biased in its favor without ever having heard the little beastie.
