Xpression III turntable has a Sumiko Oyster MM cartridge and is a serious upgrade from the Debut III. $300 would buy a lot of vinyl or a Bellari VP130 or an upgraded cartridge.
get the 5.1 without the cartridge and then buy the MM of your choice.
I've heard the Blue Point No.2 is a very high voltage MC and that it will work fine with a MM input. I'll probably go that route.
is far below the usual 4.0-5.0mV output of a typical MM cartridge, but certainly about 5 times the output of the typical MC. Hope it works for you.
Blue Point 2 is high output MC and it works just fine in my MM phono input.
