replacements you could retrofit onto your Marantz 2500 receiver if you don't mind a possible irreversible modification. Drill the rivets out which secure the existing terminals, desolder and remove them and find a suitable replacement to solder and secure in place. Looks like it will be pretty tight but you should be able to find something that works. If there is a small circuit board attached to the terminals you might have additional wiring to do for adding new terminals.

Ok, I just got an email from them that "I am approved" and I managed to see the works. This happened barely two minutes after I sent you this. Impressive timing! Very good work. I wonder if I can actually do that myself or if I can dedicate the time for it, but I should have it in mind anyway.
I guess for the time being I will get cables with spades and adaptors to use with the existing pin outlets. How does that sound as an idea? I guess the sound of the music will not be quite as good with those adaptors but anyway...
