by the way, anyone ever heard the sound of  native courting flute?  Well.. the noise was just like the 'vibrating‘ sound of that thing.....

.. listening so close to the speaker is giving me a headache, guess the big magnets inside is magnitizing my brain...arrrgh

Things happen during shipping and moving.  I moved to a new location and one speaker devoloped a similiar vibrating noise.   Turned out an internal wire had moved up against the speaker.  If opening the cabinet won't voidd the warranty I'd have a look.  Could be something simple.

thanks for the input RG

i really hope it's that simple... Well indeed they crossed many oceans  before reaching my home .. But i thought the brits had this well considered... it's making me nervous just by thinking about opening the cabinet, i'll call my dealer and ask them to take a look.

If it's consistant across content that has midrange content, etc, then you really should get it fixed sooner than later. It could be a voice coil issue, or something touching the back of the cone, or a particle inside the gap rubbing on the voice coil, or a few other things, but the one thing I can say for sure is that it shouldn't be there.
