After 3 viewings of the Mechanic, I've come to the conclusion that the tube amp in this movie is teh Jolida JD 302BRC. Does anyone have experience with this amp?

I used the 202 for years...not the state of the art but very musical with EL34's...

I saw this movie last night and thought it was great. Jason Statham has a nice audio setup in his homE consisting of a Pro-ject 9.2 Turntable along with a barely visible McIntosh "box" of some sort.

What I'm wondering about is there appears to be an integrated tube amp next to the turntable. It appears to consist of EL-34's or 6550's along with a pair of 6H30's as well. Can anyone confirm what amp it is?

I ask because I'm still looking for a nice tube integrated to power my PSB Sync One's and maybe I'll choose the one shown in the movie. I have my OWN criteria for choosing Audio Equipment :)

You have picqued my interest Jim. I will have to watch this movie. Up till now, Jason Stratham has made only great movies and if he is an audiophile, his stock just went way up in my book.

Although I don't really consider any of Jason Statham's movies "great", I am a big fan. They are definately fun movies. I was hooked after seeing The Transporter. If he's an audiophile that's more points in his favor.
